Danish musician and actor, Karl Bille returned to Cambodia in the beginning of 2009 to release and promote his new album, 'Love and Eviction' and to embark on a 'Sounds of Solidarity' concert tour with his traditional musician friends from the community of Dey Krahorm, Phnom Penh - a community resisting unlawful eviction for four years. His plans where quickly shattered when instead of playing his songs and empowering communities across the country, he was forced to witness the displacement of his friends and the complete demolition of their community on January 24, 2009. This music video displays the violent eviction of this vibrant community, containing the biggest group of living Khmer traditional musicians in the country, located in the middle of Phnom Penh in prime real estate area.
